Beatrice!  EMU!  It’s Awesome!!

-        Equipment Management Userinterface = EMU replaces the excel worksheets posted in the gas closet, google docs and CRI Coach

-        It will provide real time launch scheduling information digitally on TV’s mounted in the coaches office and outside the gas room

-        Look for more updates and links in the Launch

Next Steps with MVP

-        Incremental Steps toward improvements

-        Some of this might seem like a box check it’s not.  To hold the MVP training in January, we needed to get handbook out, and then follow up. 

-        Now that it’s done we have a few different directions to go for focus.  The managers will begin working on that soon

-        Sorry everyone. it’s been a huge haul to get the paid time off stuff straightened out

Facility Updates

• • 2 new launches have been ordered.. maybe three

  • We are going keyless start - no more searching for keys

  • We are updating IRowNow so sculling boats can be released from classes

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING:

• Pat is hiring coaches and coxswains for Team Building Events and the CRRL (pronounced: See-Double-Argh!-L) otherwise known as the Charles River Rowing League.  If you're interested or know someone that's interested in coaching or coxing, please let him know or stop by and see him.

• Once you meet with Pat and get approved you can signup to coach team building events on cricoach.com/teambuilding 

• If you're curious to know what events are coming up, they will all be posted.

HEALTHY ACTIONS

-        $300 for a doctors visit and completing a quick form… seems like a great deal

-        Helps reduce our insurance costs

WHAT WORKS SUMMIT – 

 - FANTASTIC EVENT THIS YEAR

 - Best one yet - Speakers and topics were amazing.  Attendees engaged (only 3 cancelations!), the event made money for CRI this year (!), the CRI volunteers were awesome, and it represented the contribution CRI can make to the sport.  

 - Special thanks to Theresa for putting on such an incredible event and doing it with pinache!
