Sorry for the hiatus on staff meeting notes.  Thanks to Joe G for taking these and getting them submitted.

CRI Staff Meeting - Wed. 11/2/16 10:30am

Year in Review

• • Many GREAT things happened at CRI this year.  A few of the highlights:

    • ●  Solar Panel installation, thanks to Dave Snowdon

  • ●  Silver Medal at Para - awesome performance from Ellen, Jenny and the Four!

  • ●  The CRI Comp Girlls and Comp Boys comprised 1/3 of Grand Finals at Canadian Henley.  Having 2 BOATS in the A FINAL for BOTH squads is very impressive

  • ●  Middle School Program has already reached over 3600 kids - by March of 2017, we will have reached over 5,000!

  • ●  New Docks, Parking Spots, Fields

  • ●  No major accidents this year - with the volume and sheer numbers of rowers and staff, this is incredible.  Keep up your vigilance and a  wholescale focus on safety for everyone.  

    • Update on Payroll Transition

  • ●  Looking like transition date is January 1st, 2017 as transition date to ADP

  • ●  Going with ADP it was one of the top 100 companies to work for and provide training and one of the best companies out there

  • ●  Staff will have a ton of flexibility built in to help people manage their own hours individually

  • ●  Staff will be able to submit their hours daily instead of two weeks - there will be an easy to use app for daily submissions

  • ●  Gives everyone more clarity and control to hours work and pay rates

  • ●  We will roll out about 12-15 payroll approvers who will facilitate prompt oversight of coaching and staffing hours.  

    • New Hires in October

  • ●  Yael has moved to Asst. Director of Development.  Congrats Yael!

  • ●  We have an offer going out for a new Communications Coordinator - who will manage Internal/External Communications and Marketing

  • ●  Open Positions:

    • • ○  Equipment Coordinator/Scheduler

      • ○  Front Desk Manager

        • ○  Competitive Youth Summer Coordinator -  position will be posted during the week of Nov 7

        • ○  Recreational Youth Summer Coordinator -  position will be posted during the week of Nov 7

  • ○  Volunteers for: Sculling Committee, Youth Summer Camp Committee

    • HR Update

  • ●  Annual Meeting set for Dec. 7th

  • ●  Anniversaries:  Enemacio (7 Years); Ellen (6Years); Jenny (3 Years); Brandon (2 years) Lib and Matt R (1 Year)

  • ●  Birthdays (Ryan P; Vicky B: Cara S; Alex D; Jeannie W; C.Davie)

  • ●  Patagonia Order - Look for Yael's email for sizing and prizes

  • ●  Matt Lehrer is going to Australia/NZ for 6 weeks on November 11
